We offer a different way to be catholic, inclusive, compassionate, open-minded, and welcoming all!

The vision of Heart of Many Ways is, indeed in many ways, a vision shared by Bishop Brian Ernest Brown of the Ecumenical Free Catholic Communion.

HMW's vision statement from their website:

"1) To preserve an historic Eureka Springs building and maintain its sacred purpose.

2) To develop a community of many faiths, spiritual paths, and practices to share this common space with respect for all.

3) To encourage individuals and groups to provide programs to enrich and uplift the spirit.

4) To invite the wider Eureka Springs community to support and share our vision."

It is in that spirit of acceptance and ecumenism that Bp. Brian approached HMW about becoming an "affiliate" and offering a Free Catholic Mass as just one of many worship services and or various spiritual programs already offered in their lovely historic sanctuary at 68 Mountain Street.

The building itself was built in 1915 and was originally the Christian Science Church until 2015 when it was passed on to the newly incorporated Heart of Many Ways.

The Ecumenical Free Catholic Communion has long had a presence in the Ozark Mountains, and in Eureka Springs in particular, but has never held continuous and or regular worship services within Eureka Springs.

A little bit about Our Lady of the Springs, a mission of the FCC...

We’re a community of believers and seekers who see ourselves as an emergent sacramental community born of the Free Catholic Movement.

We are a church of inclusivity and would turn no one away regardless of age, ability, race, sexuality, gender, appearance, culture, vocation, socioeconomic status, education, or even theological opinion. We welcome not just some of you but all of you.

We practice the hospitality of an open table as we believe our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ did. All are invited to partake, as you are able, willing, and comfortable, in Holy Communion.

Come join us for the Encircling Mass, an ancient and yet modern Celtic liturgy of the Ecumenical Free Catholic Communion.

We look forward to seeing you!
